The Mimo universe

Mimo first started as a mobile app. We wanted to make coding accessible to everyone, so an app seemed like the best way to do that. If you have a smartphone in your pocket, you can learn HTML, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, or Python on the go. 

In addition to the Mimo app, we created Mimo on the web to help users get a real-life coding experience and practice coding on their computers. With Mimo on the web, you can use your keyboard and a screen to learn web development and create your projects.

On top of that, we have Mimo Dev, our online coding bootcamp, designed to help you become a web developer and get hired within six months. Learners who want to gain tech skills and become web developers can apply to our online coding bootcamp.

Mimo app – Learn to write code on the go

The Mimo app is our mobile product. Since 2015, when we first launched, we’ve successfully helped over 17 million beginners learn to code. The Mimo app offers a mobile-friendly approach to coding and various unique features to help you reach your coding goals. You can spend as little as five minutes per day in the app, and you’ll still make progress toward your coding goals and learn something new. How to get the Mimo app

Mimo is available on Android and iOS and is free to download and use. So if you want to start your coding journey, all you need to do is download the app from Google Play or the App Store. 

Mimo Dev – Become a web developer in 6 months

Our online coding bootcamp, Mimo Dev, came to life because we wanted to bridge the gap between learning to code and becoming a developer. Mimo Dev is designed to help you gain the skills you need to get hired as a web developer after finishing the six-month program. The latest addition to our product portfolio is Mimo on the web (currently in beta). Many people want to dedicate more than a few minutes per day to coding, so we decided it’s time to build a web product. Mimo on the web allows you to learn and practice coding on your desktop and get the real-life coding experience.

Mimo on the web is a unique product designed to be used on a computer with a screen and a keyboard. Since it’s a web product, the curriculum and the coding path only focus on web development. There is a shared curriculum between the Mimo app and Mimo on the web. This means you can seamlessly switch between the two without losing your progress.
